Meet Shannon
About
Hi, I’m Shannon Perrone, LCSW. For over 20 years, I’ve been on a path of learning how to truly support others in their healing. After managing several programs for women while working alongside a psychiatrist, I found myself in 2018 navigating my own grief. It was during that time that Inner Bloom Healing was born, and I chose to follow its quiet but powerful guidance.
I’ve always believed that every person deserves a therapist, especially those who are in the healing profession. As I look ahead to a world where therapy is a natural part of our daily lives, I continue to walk my own path — embracing various healing modalities and working with my own therapist — so that I can be as fully present for you as possible.
With training in Somatics/Trauma-Informed Yoga, Psychodrama, Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy, Accelerated Resolution Therapy, and more, I constantly gather fresh perspectives to nourish our journey together. I recognize that parts of us may feel scared or protective, sometimes deflecting what is most important. And I trust in the beauty of slow, respectful movement through these moments. Whatever arises within you is welcome in our sessions — I invite you to lean into it with me.
I believe this is my sacred path: to heal myself, so that I can help others heal. My soul’s GPS continually guides me back to this purpose.
How Am I Different?
I embrace the ever-evolving flow of the therapeutic relationship, meeting you where you are and remaining deeply grounded in the process. I connect with each of my clients emotionally, offering love, acceptance, and approaching challenges with curiosity and care. My investment in your healing extends beyond the session — I’m committed to my own ongoing work so that I can bring the highest level of care to you.
Ethics and competence are the cornerstones of my professional practice. I challenge the status quo and encourage us to think outside of conventional boundaries, exploring new possibilities together. I am not the "smile and nod" type of therapist — I bring everything I know to the table, drawing from the many modalities I’ve learned to support your growth.
I deeply believe in community care — not just self-care. We are social beings, and we need each other to hold us up in times of need. I practice what I preach. I, too, experience anxiety, sadness, and trauma responses, which I address by working with my own therapist and healers. Through this, I navigate burnout and emerge with abundant lessons to share. I carry these lessons forward, honoring my own Hero's Journey as I walk alongside you on yours.about the future.
